Chinese government ops for greener country

Everybody knows that China is the new economic boom on the block, but with great neck speeds and fast industrialization, they have a couple of problems on there hands. One of them being pollution and green house gases. However, its good to see that China is taking a stance on the pollution problem and are trying to get it under control as well as maintaining their economic growth

my two cents on the thing is that in the beginning, inflation was the biggest problem that China faced. Since they pegged their currency to the US dollar, they were afraid that the RMB would inflate causing major havok (usually amongst the poor/middle class) on people's lives. Trying to spend the money rapidly would be a good way to deflate the RMB and I believe they found a worthly cause (plus expensive) such as the environment. Kill two birds with one stone I guess
